Area Superintendent. The South Area is Ann Murray’s neck of the woods. It is also home to School Board Member Jennifer Gottlieb’s Beachside Village Montessori School; a boondoggle highlighted in the recent Grand Jury report.

Jennifer Gottlieb was re-elected in  August 2010. Ms. Gottlieb’s husband, Ken Gottlieb was elected to the Broward County bench in 2010.

On March 27, 2009, Wellness Matters Inc., a Boca Raton based corporation, gave a $500.00 political contribution to Jennifer Gottlieb’s campaign:

On December 21, 2009, Wellness Matters Inc. gave a $500.00 contribution to Ken Gottlieb’s campaign.

State of Florida documents show Wellness Matters, Inc. is owned by Julie Herbst of Boca Raton, Florida. It appears Wellness Matters Inc is a distributor of the food supplement known as “JUICE PLUS”.

Palm Beach County records show Wellness Matters Inc. operates from a home owned by Julie Herbst and Joel D. Herbst.

Dr. Joel D. Herbst did not respond to our request for comment.
