Dynamic Duo? Debbie Wasserman Schultz Teams Up With Murphy To Battle Allen West

This comes as no surprise given Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Out of Touch) Queeg-like obsession with defeating Congressman Allen West. Many of Debbie’s Weston crew made an early “impact” on Patrick Murphy’s campaign.

Funny, Patrick Murphy lives in Broward. He’s running for a district in Palm Beach. And the fundraiser is being held in Miami-Dade.

Too bad Debbie doesn’t give all her constituents the attention she gives West. See you all at the fundraiser! Drinks on CredoPac!

Surprise! Allen West Challenger LOVES New Redistricting Maps

20120117-170042.jpg

In a complete non-shocker, Congressman Allen West’s Democrat challenger loves the new redistricting maps. Patrick Murphy (D-Erin) sent an email to supporters touting the district as good news. Murphy trumpets the support of former Congressman Robert Wexler and press he is getting from the DailyKos. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Out Of Touch) must be smiling.

Here’s a portion of the Murphy email:

“In other news, I’ve received a number of questions about the status of redistricting. As of today, there are two Republican-created maps working there way through the legislature and both make the congressional district into a much more Democratic district, greatly improving our ability to win! The “final” map, ultimately to be passed by the legislature and signed by Governor Scott, will likely be challenged in court. It could be months before we have a final, court approved map. In the meantime, if these lines hold, it would be a positive for the campaign. We’ll keep you updated”
