Civil Rights investigators from the U.S. Department of Education are checking into the admission policies of two Broward county schools: Virgina Shulman Young and (Not-Near-The) Beachside Village Montessori in Hollywood. Beachside, Jennifer Gottlieb’s pet boondoggle project, was subject of the recent Grand Jury Report. Investigators want to know if the admission policies discriminate against minority students.

Hello, McFly! Anyone with half a brain knows Beachside is the school for south side elites who don’t want to pay for private schools; How many neighborhood kids go to Beachside?

The Miami Herald reports, “Superintendent Jim Notter has said officials found no evidence Beachside’s policies resulted in a disproportionate enrollment of wealthy students.” Are these the same officials that found no “evidence” that Bev Gallagher and Stephanie Kraft were being naughty? Same folks that gave Ann Murray a slap on the wrist for a racial slur?

Beachside is located in School Board Member Ann ” No Cheap Seats” Murray’s district. The school is part of the South Area of the School district. Dr. Joel D. Herbst runs the South Area.

RED BROWARD reported yesterday that someone at Herbst’s home address may have donated big bucks to Jennifer Gottlieb and her husband.
