What Is Allowed On Fort Lauderdale Beach During Florida Panthers Parade And Celebration

Updated Florida Panthers Parade information from the City of Fort Lauderdale:


For Sunday, June 30, tents and tables will not be allowed on FTL Beach south of E Las Olas Blvd.

🚧 Road closures on the barrier island will go into effect starting as early as 8:30 AM on Sunday. Rideshare, carpools, park and rides, water taxi and alternative forms of transportation are encouraged.

Increased traffic and gridlock should be expected throughout the City, especially downtown, where parking garages are expected to fill up quickly.

Residents:
🚦 Expect an increase in traffic citywide- not just near the beach.
🚦 If you plan to drive in Fort Lauderdale (especially on the barrier island) on Sunday, be prepared for significant delays.
🚦 Make sure to plan ahead & complete any regular Sunday activities, such as grocery shopping, by Sat, 6/29, or wait until Mon, 7/1.

Broward Republicans Planning Grand Old Party BBQ With Allen West

Coming on the heels of a wildly successful Lincoln Day dinner which raised $90,000, The Broward Republican Executive Committee announced plans for a “Grand Old Party BBQ”. The “Country Afternoon” will feature visits by Congressman Allen West, Sheriff Al Lamberti, FL House Representative Matt Hudson, FL Senator George Moraitis, and Broward County Commissioner Chip LaMarca.

The event will be held on June 11th , 2011 at the famed Bergeron Ranch in western Broward county. BREC Chairman Richard DeNapoli said the fun-filled event will feature family friendly activities as well as chance to compete alongside some political superstars.

General Admission prices are $35 for adults and $10 for kids 5years and older. ( Children under 5 years old are free)
