Putting the "slush" in schools?

 

Is South Plantation High School the only school operating a secret slush fund? Even School Board Auditor Kevin Reilly doesn’t know; he told the Sun-Sentinel it never dawned on him to ask to see a school’s secret set of books.

What is Maureen Dinnen going to do about it?

What is Robin Bartleman going to do about it?

What is Jennifer Gottlieb going to do about it?

What is Ben Williams going to do about it?

What is Ann Murray going to do about it?

What is Laurie Rich Levinson going to do about it?

What is Dave Thomas going to do about it?

What is Patrica Good going to do about it?

What is Nora Rupert going to do about it?

Did anyone know about any of these funds prior to the audit? Someone needs to ask these questions…

Disgraced Tamarac Mayor Gets Tribute Video?!?!?

Guess they forgot to include Beth's mug shot

Ah, the beauty of YouTube. This video was featured on the Sun Sentinel awhile back, the link was down but it’s back up. Tamarac mayor Beth Talabisco was removed from office after being charged with bevy of corruption charges. Someone at “Tamarac Talk” produced this tribute to Talabisco; We’re pretty sure Ilene Lieberman didn’t come up with this. The video is described as follows:

“A tribute to our beautiful Mayor who was suspended from office by Florida Governor Rick Scott after she was arrested on public corruption charges. We believe the State Attorney’s office will not be able to prove the charges. We hope that she get’s reinstated back into office as soon as possible.”

Not sure about that optimism…especially when going up against Ilene and Bev. But there are a few pics of Diane Glasser in the video…perhaps all is not lost. Best of luck, Beth.
