Ozzie DeFaria, GOP candidate for US Congress CD 20, made a recent fact-finding trip to Israel. DeFaria is seeking the chance to send Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Out Of Touch) into early retirement. On his ten day trek from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, DeFaria was able to speak with Knesset members, religious leaders, politicians and average citizens to gauge their views on US policy to Israel, President Obama and even Ron Paul (!).

I understand that there’s a lot of undisclosed background involving Mr. De Faria. DWS will not go gently into the night leaving this information out of the public eyes. I cannot put enough emphasis into my suggestion to all of you to VET this candidate. In fact, VET them all, or you’re going to be wasting you time and money.

In response to Frieda’s posts of innuendo, allow me to share some information. More importantly than vetting Ozzie defaria as a candidate, 4 years ago, I vetted Ozzie as a potential son in law. Not only is he a world class businessman, he is even a higher class family man. Any insinuations to try to tarnish his reputation are totally off base. He is an amazing father, a great role model and the most loving husband to my daughter.
He has the total respect of his family, his ex-wife,friends and business colleagues.
Next January, I will be proud to call him Congressman, but not nearly as proud as I am to call him son.
