Rise And Prove Them Wrong

They’re using the same old game plan. Glossy mailers touting endorsements fill your mailbox. Robocalls urge super voters to overlook corrupt deals and immunized testimony. Ads fill local papers catering to diverse communities as if the politician actually cares about that diverse community.

They are trying to fool us all over again.

They think you’re ignoring social media and blogs that reveal the dirty underbelly of Broward’s crony capitalism. They think you won’t notice their campaign coffers are filled with companies and lobbyists eager to do business with local government.

They think there is protection in the shadows.

They think you’re ignoring the open records available with a simple google search. They think you’ll never see the big campaign expenditures to Democrat campaign consultants. They think you’ll never find the corporations created to feed off the public trough.

They think you’ll miss their posts and tweets showing the alliances with other undesirable candidates. They think you’ll never figure out which PAC, CCE or ECO is protecting them.

They run on records as thin as the paper they are printed on. Years of waste and corruption papered over by worthless endorsements of friendly organizations out to protect the status quo.

They think you will chalk this up to “coincidence”. They hope you’ll doubt your own common sense. They hope you’ll blame it on “partisanship” or shoddy journalism.

Your instincts are right. Trust them.

There are no coincidences in Broward county.

A tea party conservative Republican pandering to the crowd in power is just as bad as a liberal Democrat that panders to the same crowd. Broward county has too many of these people. We do not need more.

Rise.

Prove them wrong.

REPORT: Broward Democrats Honor Union Calling For “Militant Social Movement” In Broward

nothing like a little homegrown anarchy, right Stacy?

MEDIA TRACKERS FLORIDA is reporting Broward Democrats such as Broward County Commissioner Stacy Ritter, Broward State Attorney Mike Satz, and host of candidates gave an award to the ultra-confrontational UNITE HERE at the BYD Luncheon.

“Walsh also told the gathering of Democratic leaders that Unite Here could remedy that failure by pushing the ‘Florida Freedom Charter.’ She said the charter, based upon the Apartheid-era South Africa Freedom Charter, would address rights of workers, immigrants, and voters, as well as provide affordable health care. Walsh suggested that unions and groups like the Broward Young Democrats and Awake the state join forces to ‘build a sustainable and sometimes necessarily militant social movement.’ She did not specify the kinds of militant acts that the groups should sponsor.”
