Since some of the people you say are the 1% are politicians and must disclose their financials, did you actually check to see if they are, indeed, part of the “1%?” Are these really the richest people in Broward County or are you assuming that?
Isn’t being the “1%” about more than the size of your bank account and 401k? Doesnt the “1%” use power and influence to undermine the 99%? Sure the wealthy have influence, but the real power requires ability to shape and influence public policy. Or is this all about rich vs poor? Because there are good rich folks and bad poor ones, no?
In Broward, the one percent uses KC Wright and Broward Government Center to further their goals.
Really? What about the ones with influential spouses? Don’t they have a little more reach? What about the ones with close ties to well-connected lobbyists(not counting the spouses)? What about the ones with immunity deals from Satz? What about the ones with politically active staffers?

Then you need to add in the other commissioners to your list too.
We gladly take requests, but some commissioners are less 1% than others, right?

Not all commissioners are created equal
