Well, that’s one way to attract attention as well as cause a traffic hazard. Consequences are a must. Who painted the word? Obviously, it’s the supervisor’s fault for not overseeing the job. The supervisor should be assessed the cost of removing and repainting the surface, not the taxpayers.. Also, it should be investigated to see if it was an accident or a prank. I can’t imagine how much time will be spent on this project, and time is money. We can’t afford stupid oversights.
Many might like to know how long the misspelled word has been on the street………me for one.
Chalk up another one for the Broward County School System…….
First, it is on the Lauderhill/Sunrise border, and the schools are in Sunrise. It was also the Lauderhill residents who discovered the error. Watch the TV report.
Second, what do you expect from the lowest bidder.
The good news, see how many people realized it was spelled wrong.
