RED BROWARD TOURS: Ilene Lieberman Botanical Gardens In Lauderhill, Florida

Yep, back in 2008 the City of Lauderhill named a park after Broward County Commissioner Ilene Lieberman (D-Mango). The “Ilene Lieberman Botanical Gardens” is located on the 3800 block of Inverrary Blvd just north of Oakland Park Blvd. Families will love the “amphi-theater”, “tot lot”, “excercise lot” and “nature trail” located next to the Inverrary Vacation Resort.

Just don’t bring your dog. The Gardens has 11 “No Dogs In Park” signs! Ilene Lieberman loves mangoes, but apparently she doesn’t care for pooches.

Speaking of Inverrary, longtime residents think of just one person when someone mentions Inverrary–Jackie Gleason. Fans of “The Great One” need not worry,  just up the road from the Ilene Lieberman Botanical Gardens is The Jackie Gleason Park. Sure it’s not as nice but Jackie was just a world-famous television and movie star; Ilene Lieberman is a legal expert, mango advocate and a well-connected Broward Democrat. Priorities people!

Broward Commissioner Ilene Lieberman (D-Legal Genius) is running for Broward County Judge. No word if Florida Bar Member Ilene L. Michelson is running too. See, that’s the name Lieberman uses when practicing law.

Here’s another question or two:

When Lieberman gave testimony against Tamarac Mayor Beth Talabisco did Ilene “state her name for the record” as Lieberman or Michelson?

Will Lieberman aide and Chait bribery participant Bev Stracher follow her to the new courthouse gig?

Will Ilene Michelson, Woodlands resident, continue to videotape people picking up mangoes that fall from her trees?

Will Lieberman’s downtown backers ACTUALLY GIVE HER MONEY SO SHE CAN SIT AS A BROWARD COUNTY JUDGE??? Really? You don’t read the funny papers?
