Judging from pictures posted on Facebook, less than 10 people attended a Judy Stern hosted congressional fundraiser on Sunday. Held at the Casablanca Cafe in Fort Lauderdale, the event raised funds for Orlando’s Susannah Randolph. Complete details tomorrow, including more ties between Broward Democrats and Muslim groups…
Susannah Randolph, Democrat candidate for US Congress District 9, has enlisted the help of consultant Judy Stern and other Broward Democrats. On December 20th, Stern, a local salami sandwich doyenne, and Congresswoman Lois Frankel are hosting a fundraiser for the Orlando Democrat. Randolph is running against Fl. State Rep. Darren Soto.
A December 10th email from host Joanne Goodwin to local Democrats attacks Soto as a “so called Democrat.” She claims Soto votes against women’s health issues, domestic violence and alimony. Goodwin claims Soto, “Voted against Planned Parenthood and for the mandatory ultrasound bill and personhood.” Goodwin forgets to mention a huge endorsement Randolph received on December 9th.
On her Facebook page, Randolph announced:
Randolph scores Rep. Ellison Endorsement!
“Susannah is a true Progressive Democrat with a lifelong commitment to grassroots organizing and helping Democrats win. I am proud to support her campaign and I look forward to working with her in Congress to build the bench of Progressive, Democratic candidates.” -Congressman Keith Ellison
Thank you, Congressman Ellison!
Who is Rep. Keith Ellison?
Ellison is a Muslim-American attorney from Minnesota. According to Breitbart.com, “The Little Mogadishu neighborhood is represented by Democrat congressman Keith Ellison, who liberals proudly tout as the first Muslim-American Congressman. Ellison – who famously swore his oath of office on a Koran – has been a key player in public attacks on those seeking to expose the threat of radical Islam….”
