Richard Rubin, husband of former Broward County Commissioner Diana Wasserman Rubin, will not be using his real estate license when he is released from federal custody later this month. The Florida Department of Business Regulation confirmed to RED BROWARD the Florida Real Estate Commission voted this week to revoke Rubin’s license. The order will become final once processed by an agency clerk.
Diana Wasserman Rubin is still facing several felony charges stemming from public corruption. Oh, by the way, Diana Wasserman Rubin…another disgraced Broward Democrat.

“I erred. I erred terribly, your honor. I’m ashamed and I apologize to the court.”
Sun Sentinel reports Richard Rubin will change his “not guilty” plea when he comes before Judge William Zloch. Rubin, who puts the Rubin in disgraced Broward County Commish and Democrat Diana Wasserman Rubin, was charged with tax evasion.
The report says Zloch is one tough customer.
“U.S. District Judge William Zloch has a written policy that he does not accept ‘no-contest’ pleas and the hearing notice for Rubin states in capital letters: ‘Counsel, please advise your client Judge Zloch will ask for a full confession.’ ”
