“Comrade” Blumenthal Goes To Washington?

“Comrade” Stanley Blumenthal hopes Broward voters will send him to Congress. Yep, an unabashed socialist/communist wants to represent south Florida’s congressional district 25. The 87 year-old Sunrise resident is running against Mario Diaz Balart (R-Miami) and a guy who legally changed his name to “voteeddie.com”. Blumenthal and VoteEddie are not affiliated with any party. There is no Democrat in the race.

In 2010, more than 1,200 Broward residents voted for Blumenthal over Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Out Of Touch).

A vocal opponent of outsourcing, Blumenthal blames our economic woes on both parties backing of free trade agreements. He told RED BROWARD, “Ship goods not factories.”

While he hopes to pick up support from Broward Democrats, “Comrade” Blumenthal says he “disappointed” with President Barack Obama.

Connie Mack Picks Up Key Endorsements in Miami Visit

This morning in Miami, Connie Mack picked up serious support for his US Senate campaign. Mack was endorsed by Miami’s GOP congressional delegation: Rep. David Rivera, Rep. Mario Diaz Balart, and Rep.Ileana Ros Lehtinen. Lincoln Diaz Balart also threw his support behind Mack.

Mack hopes to send Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Sleepy) into retirement this November. Today’s endorsements should guarantee Mack the support of Miami’s Cuban (and very Republican) community.
