WSVN Channel 7 reports Parkland school massacre suspect to plead guilty on all counts.

23-year-old Nikolas Cruz will plead guilty to all 17 counts of premeditated murder and all 17 counts of attempted murder in the Valentine’s Day shooting that killed 17 people and wounded more than a dozen.

The plea is for Friday in Broward Circuit Court.

UPDATE: Broward State Attorney Harold Pryor says there have been no negotiations with Cruz. Here’s his statement:

Statement from the Broward State Attorney’s Office:
We have to refer all of your questions to the defense. There have been no plea negotiations with the prosecution. If he pleads guilty, there would still be a penalty phase.

A status hearing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. tomorrow (Friday) in Broward Circuit Judge Elizabeth Scherer’s courtroom and via Zoom.
