Hey Gator Nation, Debbie Wasserman Schultz Is A Big Urban Meyer Apologist!

We knew Debbie Wasserman Schultz was “out of touch” with her own district, but now it looks like she is “out of touch” with her beloved Gator Nation as well. On Thursday morning, The University of Florida alum appeared on the Paul and Young Ron Radio Show on BIG 105.9 to promote a local job fair.

Paul Castronovo, the host, and himself a member of gator nation, kicked off the interview with thoughts on Urban Meyer’s decision to become head coach of the Ohio State football team; Meyer was head coach of the Gators until last season when he stepped down for family and health reasons.

Like most Gators fans, Castronovo was quite unhappy with Meyer’s quick return to coaching. Many see it as a betrayal of the orange and blue. While Debbie called herself a “rabid Gator fan”, ( and who doesn’t love a rabid gator?), she quickly proceeded to defend the man known as “Urban Liar.”

Wasserman Schultz defended Meyer saying coaching was “in (his) blood” and “hard to shake.” She even delved into mind reading when she said Meyer must have thought ” Oh gosh, what have I done?”, referring to his earlier decision to retire.

It should not come as a surprise that Debbie is quick to apologize for bad decisions of public figures. She has spent years apologizing for the blunders of Nancy Pelosi, Anthony Weiner and Barack Obama.

Florida’s US Congressional District 20 needs a full-time leader, not a part-time apologist and political flack.

Florida College Students Dragged Into Democrat Smear Campaign Against Governor Rick Scott?

Can there be any doubt Florida Governor Rick Scott is the target of a smear campaign involving allies of the Democrat party? RED BROWARD reported on staged events, by unions and groups such as Progress Florida and Awake The State, which aim to embarrass Scott. They believe a wounded, unpopular and demonized Rick Scott would hurt all Republican candidates, thus helping the Obama and Bill Nelson re-election campaigns. Maybe someone should ask DNC/DCCC/Part-Time Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Out Of Touch) about this plan?

Governor Rick Scott

Now, the campaign has reached into Florida’s colleges and universities. RED BROWARD obtained an email sent to all students ,faculty, and various departments at Florida Memorial University. Kendrick Stevenson, the Attorney General of FMU Student Government Association implores “fellow Lions” to sign a petition calling for Scott’s removal from office:

Please follow the link below to support the removal of Republican Governor of the State of Florida Rick Scott; to be effective immediately. Governor Scott has been successful in destroying the State of Florida since the beginning of his tenure in office as Governor. We the people need to stand UNITED to put an end to this madness.

Please sign the online petition to remove Governor Scott. We floridians desperately need this recall, the future of this State is in your hands.

Thanks,

Kendrick A. Stevenson
