“We Stand With Beverly Perkins Rally” Planned For Monday In Pompano Beach

Pro-Beverly Perkins Rally Planned For Monday Evening
Beverly Perkins Poses With BSO At Local Car Show

Supporters of embattled Pompano Beach Vice Mayor Beverly Perkins are holding a rally Monday evening at City Hall. Perkins is facing her second scandal involving her disrespectful attitude toward law enforcement. Perkins is on the ballot this November.

In July, REDBROWARD broke the news regarding an April 2022 traffic stop involving Perkins and the Fort Lauderdale Police Department. Perkins was pulled over for speeding. After being told she would get off with a written warning, Perkins told the FLPD officer he should, “find something the better to fucking do.” The entire incident was captured on police body cameras.

Last week, WSVN posted new police body camera footage of a December 2020 incident involving Perkins and Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies. Documents show Perkins tried to get a deputy reassigned after he scolded her for ignoring traffic barricades at an event.

Supporters of Beverly Perkins promise to reveal the “real reason” behind the recent Perkins stories at the rally.

SPOILER ALERT: Beverly Perkins’ arrogant behavior towards law enforcement officers doing their jobs is the “real reason.”

Additional Body Camera Footage Shows Rude Pompano Beach Vice Mayor Beverly Perkins Telling Second Police Officer “I Can’t Think Of Anything I Could Be Doing Wrong”

Second Bodycam Footage of Beverly Perkins

Additional body camera footage obtained by REDBROWARD shows Pompano Beach Vice Mayor Beverly Perkins telling a second Fort Lauderdale Police Officer, “I can’t think of anything I could be doing wrong.” Last week, REDBROWARD was first to report an April 6, 2022 incident where Fort Lauderdale Police stopped Perkins for speeding. The incident took place just after 10:00 PM in the parking lot of the Sunland Food Mart on East Sunrise Boulevard.

In the first body camera footage, Perkins told the police officer, ““I am Vice Mayor Beverly Perkins of the City of Pompano Beach. Y’all need to find something better to fucking do.”

The footage posted by REDBROWARD went viral. National outlets such as the New York Post exposed Perkins’ rude and unprofessional behavior.

In the second video, Beverly Perkins starts loudly playing her music as the first officer returned to his patrol car. The second officer stood on the passenger side of Perkins white Audi SUV. The passenger side window was rolled down.

After four minutes, Beverly Perkins began talking to the second officer. Perkins’ initial comments were obscured by her loud music and road noise. But it appears Perkins is saying something about the City of Pompano Beach.

After turning down the volume of her radio Perkins said, “I can’t think of anything I could be doing wrong.” The Officer replied, “ok.” Then, Perkins asked the officer for his name.

After getting the officer’s name, Perkins raised the volume of her radio. It appeared as though Perkins typed the officer’s name into her phone.

Last week, Perkins told REDBROWARD, “With all due respect. I never cursed or said that to the officer. I respect the law and he was just doing his job. The officer never issued me anything in writing. He just asked me to slow down and I did.

The videos show Beverly Perkins was not respectful to either police officer.
