Broward Early Voting Day 2 Numbers Drop

Numbers from the Supervisor of Elections Office show fewer Broward voters took advantage of early voting on day 2. Only 3,225 people voted on Sunday.  During the first weekend of early voting, just 7,851 people voted in the August primary.

On Sunday, the top location was the Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines with 277 votes cast at that location. The other top locations were the Coral Ridge Mall in Fort Lauderdale, the West Regional Library in Plantation, the Hollywood Library, the Davie/Cooper City Library and the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs.

Broward Early Voting Day One Totals


Numbers released by the Supervisor of Elections Office show nearly five thousand Broward voters took advantage of early voting. On the first day of voting, 4,626 residents voted in the August primary. The votes were spread out at twenty sites across the county.

The most votes (420) were cast at the Coral Ridge Mall in Fort Lauderdale. The other top locations were the Southwest Regional Library in Pembroke Pines, the Northwest Regional Library in Coral Springs, the West Regional Library in Plantation and the Davie/Cooper City Library.

The fewest votes were cast at the Parkland Community Center. Only 65 people voted.
