On Friday, Juan Eliel Garcia joined the crowded field vying to take on Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-out of touch) next November. He becomes the fifth GOP candidate along with Ozzie DeFaria, Joe Kaufman, Joe Goldner and Karen Harrington. According to his FACEBOOK page, Eliel Garcia is a pastor at Promise Church in Pembroke Pines. His official campaign video shows Eliel Garcia hosting a radio program as well.
Eliel Garcia has already distinguished himself by announcing his candidacy in Spanish.

What’s going on here. People from all walks of life agree that Debbie Wasserman Schultz needs to get the heck out of our US Congress. All these candidtes should bury their egos and their pride. They should get together in a debate or private meeting and agree on winner take all. What they really need to understand is that we do not need the following characters to represent our GOP
1. A man who has numerous domestic violence accusations, displays of public anger and a pending homicidal investigation, certainly no stranger to the law enforcement community AND a
history of many addresses, no substantial roots to speak of,
2. A woman who has had a life experience of working in & for her parents restaurant and very little, if any, formal education. And her press releases, speeches and other articles reflect a lack of
communication skills. Even her paid bloggers have difficulty putting cohesive words and thoughts in articles.
3. A recluse who is running a cyber fantasy campaign who also has poor communication skills. Can you imagine this man matching wits with Debbie Wasserman Schultz and other US Congressional and foreign dignitaries via Google or Facebook? There must be a reason this man has no local personal transportation.
4. And now, there is a hispanic pastor entering this all important political race. I’m sure this is a good man, but I don’t speak or understand Spanish and I believe that most of the D-20 voters are Jewish. This is not a racial issue, just a common sense issue.
5. As you might guess from my description of these four candidtes, my choice to win the D-20
Floridian US Congressional Primary is JOE KAUFMAN. Joe is an honorable man with no blemishes on his character, well educated with great communication skills. Joe has worked all his life to support our US Constitution and to preserve our freedom. Joe Kaufman has the communication skills, experience and foreign affairs knowledge to protect Floridians as well as
our homeland security. Joe’s views on our economy, Agenda 21, immigration, energy, medicare, medicaid, and foreign affairs far outweigh those of the other candidates.
ONCE AGAIN, D-20 voters…..do your homework, VET these candidates. Just remember, more candidates do NOT get the best candidate elected. They just split the vote.
Most of your observations are excellent. Except that the you have a few facts wrong. Juan Eliel is the pastor of Promise Church. This is a church that holds it’s services in English. If you look at the demographics of D-20 you will find that it is 24% Hispanic. Without the Hispanic vote there is no chance for a republican candidate to win and I am sure that no Hispanic would vote for none of the candidates in the running right now. You mentioned all the defects of all the challengers but left out that Joe Kaufman is a one note singer. All he talks about is about terrorism, Israel and anti Muslim. He seems to forget that there are other issues that affect and are on interest to the remainder 90% of D20
Here is some background on this new candidate (Juan Eliel Garcia). So far we know that he is Hispanic and bilingual. He works for a radio station and is well known and well respected in the community thanks to his involvement with them through health fairs, etc. He was in the Army, National Guard; he is a businessman and previous experiences include Senior Operations Manager for 10 years for a Fortune 500 company with an impeccable track record. One interesting note… he was recently recognized by US Congress for his “outstanding and invaluable service to the community as a successful Hispanic leader”.
Saying most of the district 20 voters are Jewish is really a stretch. Ever been to North Andrews Gardens? Wow …. People go in debt when running for office….unless they have a lot of money in the first place. Everybody can’t buy their way in…Thank God. Karen’s good ,she has grown in her ability to communicate her vision and knows the issues. A well rounded conservative. We need to get rid of DWS in a very big way. There is no time for BS in this race. I also know several Hispanics that are voting for Karen and Jewish folks too. Are we really that biased that we can only vote for candidates of the same faith or country of origin? I am not in love with any of the presidential choices ,but I will vote for who ever will beat B.O because he has to go. So does Debbie. I’m just a normal citizen exercising my freedom of speech. Not on anyone’s payroll
