On Wednesday, US Congressional candidate Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick told REDBROWARD she never lived with her husband and children in a Maryland home owned by her family. She claimed to have always lived with her parents in their Miramar home, even after her September 2017 wedding. But numerous photographs posted on her Facebook account shows Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick inside the Maryland home located just outside Washington D.C.
REDBROWARD reported Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick’s parents bought a home in Anne Arundel county in 2016. Less than a year later, the property was transferred to a corporation located at Cherfilus-McCormick’s parents home in Miramar. Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick admitted that her husband and children live at the Maryland house. She even revealed that her sister lived in the same house.
Now, REDBROWARD has obtained photographs Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick posted on her Facebook account showing her inside the Gambrills, Maryland house.
On December 25, 2020, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick posted a Christmas morning photograph showing her family posing in their pajamas. The family is gathered on their staircase. A comparison with photographs on a real estate website shows the photograph was snapped inside the Gambrills, Maryland home.
On Thanksgiving 2020, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick posted a photograph of herself with her husband in their kitchen. A comparison with the real estate website photographs appears to confirm the picture of the McCormick’s was snapped in the kitchen of the Gambrills, Maryland home owned by her family.
A November 2019 photograph of Cherfilus-McCormick and her husband also appears to be taken inside the Maryland house.
Since 2018, Facebook posts show Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick in the Washington D.C. area. These include multiple visits to the Haitian embassy. Cherfilus-McCormick and her husband posted pictures from other Washington D.C. events. One “blackmail” photo shows the couple attending a bridal show in the D.C. area. A Youtube video shows Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick sitting in the front row as her husband models a tuxedo.
Is Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick just making quick visits to Washington D.C. without staying at the home owned by her family?
Did Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick pose for holiday photos with her family in Maryland and fly home the same day? During a pandemic?
Broward State Attorney Harold Pryor received the ice-cold shoulder treatment at an online Juneteenth celebration hosted by Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness. While the Zoom ceremony featured numerous online participants, Pryor was in the same room as Holness. After rattling off statistics for several minutes, Holness paused and said, “We have with us, State Attorney Harold Pryor.” After Pryor finished Holness simply stated “thank you State Attorney Pryor.”
Holness was much more enthusiastic in his introductions for other participants like Tamarac Commissioner Elberg Mike Gelin and Broward Sheriff Gregory Tony.
The awkward introduction comes just days after REDBROWARD broke the news that Pryor and his predecessor, Michael Satz, hosted a fundraiser for U.S. Congressional candidate Bobby DuBose. Holness is running against Dubose, Perry Thurston, Omari Hardy and Barbara Sharief for the Democratic nomination for the seat previously held by Alcee Hastings. Pryor hosted the DuBose event at the Riverside Hotel in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
Political insiders were shocked by the DuBose endorsement since Holness was a strong backer of Pryor during the 2020 election.
Perhaps all is not well at Team Dale Holness headquarters?
“God has truly blessed me with an amazing support system. Last night at Riverside Hotel, Harold Pryor and Michael Satz held a fundraising event in my honor. To everyone who continues to show their support, please know I offer my deepest gratitude. Thank you.”— Bobby DuBose
Even though controversial County Commissioner Dale Holness helped get him elected last November, new Broward State Attorney Harold Pryor is hosting a fundraiser for his opponent in the CD 23 U.S. Congressional race. On Wednesday evening, Pryor and his predecessor, Michael Satz, hosted a rooftop event in Fort Lauderdale for State Rep. Bobby DuBose. Holness, Dubose, State Sen. Perry Thurston, State Rep. Omari Hardy and County Commissioner Barbara Sharief are running to replace Congressman Alcee Hastings.
Broward insiders were shocked by the invite especially since Harold Pryor’s senior adviser often works for Dale Holness and his allies.
Perhaps the Broward State Attorney took note of the negative headlines swirling around Team Dale Holness and decided to back DuBose?
