But tonight’s your big chance to hobnob with the big society types as WHEELABRATOR PRESENTS “CLUELESS ON LAS OLAS”!

“Society is all aflutter with the news of the wedding of the year, but the fun is cut off when the bride is found dead in “Till Death Do Us Apart.” As part of an annual fundraiser, Clueless on Las Olas, draws 500 amateur sleuths scouring the streets of Fort Lauderdale to find the truth. On Thursday, March 29, 2012 at 7 p.m. detectives gather on Las Olas Blvd. to solve the unique murder mystery game.

Patterned after the board game Clue, ClueLess on Las Olas participants read an original mystery before solving seven one-of-a-kind clues to determine which of the six suspects committed the crime. To win the game, participants must correctly identify the murderer and also determine where the incident occurred or with what.” read more here

Guess we can’t complain too much, we’ve been calling for sleuths to scour the streets of Fort Lauderdale to find the truth… Wait it gets better! The event is a fundraiser for Browardpartners.com—a group headquartered at the School Board of Broward County building.

Broward County Commission Powerless Against Jazz Hands and Sing-A-Longs (VIDEO)

The Broward County Commission shot down County Administrator Bertha Henry’s free speech ordinance. Ms. Henry told the packed Commission meeting that she didn’t want to limit free speech; She said they just wanted to know who was protesting. A surly Ilene Lieberman tried to impress the audience with her award-winning knowledge of Constitutional law. Lieberman critiqued the legal arguments of public speakers and had her attorney testify that no one would dare find a constitutional issue with her proposed ordinance. Ms. Lieberman’s performance was met with guffaws instead of “jazz hands”.

Attached is a musical interlude by one of the public speakers complete with “jazz hands”.
