Congressman Ted Deutch made the shocking announcement on Monday that he’s resigning his seat in the U.S. Congress

Throughout my seven terms in Congress, you have been a loyal friend and supporter which is why I wanted to you to hear from me that I will not seek re-election to Congress in 2022.

I am privileged to continue much of the work I’ve done in Congress combating rising antisemitism and advocating for a safe and secure Israel as the next Chief Executive Officer of the American Jewish Committee.
