Heavens to Murgatroyd! Ilene Lieberman got booed before last night’s Broward Republican Executive Committee meeting and made a hasty retreat out a side door. Lieberman (D-Mango) made her exit stage left following the thunderous applause for her opponent, Katherine “Katie” McHugh.

We were there, but unaware of this event. But, we did hear DeFaria’s exwife’s disertation regarding the domestic violence in their family. QUESTION: Is it perjury if you testify or sign sworn statements in the 2005-2006 timeframe, and then state in 2012 that what you stated was not true?
Do you suppose she has memory loss or monetary loss at stake here? Did she lie then or is she lying now? So confusing. We need the media to clear up these facts. Just curious. Thanks
It’s not a Democratic or Republican thing. It’s not a conservative or liberal thing. In this case it is a clearly qualified vs. unqualified thing. So it would be best if it was described as that.
In every possible way McHugh is a completely qualified candidate prepared to be a judge. Lieberman however is not qualified by any definition.
It’s not that Lieberman could be a good attorney, but she doesn’t have the experience in the court to be a good judge behind the bench. She also seriously lacks what you would call “Judicial Temperament.” That is one of the most important qualities you look for in a potential judge. How they treat those in front of them. Clearly as a County Commissioner she has shown she lacks this vital quality.
