Law Firm’s Fundraiser For Ilene Lieberman To Be A Musical Extravaganza?!?

Mango gift bags?

Earlier this week, Local 10 WPLG reported the well-connected law Becker Poliakoff is hosting a fundraiser for Ilene Lieberman (D-Mango, Warrior Princess) to help fill her campaign coffers. Lieberman, a Broward County Commissioner, thinks Broward voters will make her a county judge. Here is the email from the Channel 10 report:

After many years of highly acclaimed service as a Broward County Commissioner, my good friend ILENE LIEBERMAN is now a candidate for the open Group 6 Broward County Judge seat. I had the pleasure of being one of ILENE LIEBERMAN’S professors in law school and was so proud of her when she graduated as Valedictorian.

“It is my pleasure to invite you to a special fundraising lunch on behalf of ILENE LIEBERMAN FOR COUNTY COURT JUDGE … corporate or personal contributions up to $500 per person/entity will be accepted.

ILENE LIEBERMAN is an accomplished attorney who has a depth of experience handling probate and guardianship matters, commercial transactions and has been involved in some of the most important Appellate cases on behalf of homeowners suing insurance companies. ILENE has served on dozens of high level Boards and her awards and recognition is pages long. From the Florida Association of Counties, David Posnack Hebrew Day School and Soref JCC, American Red Cross and Nova Southeastern Distinguished Alumni, ILENE LIEBERMAN has served our community with great honor and distinction.

Please join my me and my partners Alan Becker, Gary Rosen, Bernie Friedman, Keith Poliakoff and others … as we celebrate the next journey in ILENE LIEBERMAN’S public service. If you are unable to attend, feel free to send a check in the enclosed envelope …

Gary Poliakoff”

Now, sources tell RED BROWARD that Yan Songer will be on hand with his magic ukulele to entertain guests. Wow, it sounds like so much fun. We cannot wait to see the guest list.

  1. That must be why the Broward Commissioners didn’t want to vote for the prison moratorium.

  2. Hey, you think that is good. I understand her daughter just got married. Wonder who attended the wedding, who gave gifts, were the gifts prohibited to receive by the daughter because of the broward ethics code, and what disclosures she may have to make?

Not to rain on the marriage, but the ethics code probably plays a major problem with weddings and the like. You never know who is a contractor, vendor, or lobbyist.
