Forget Tamarac? Elberg Mike Gelin Tells Voters He Really Wants To Be Broward County Commissioner

Mayor Of Tamarac Just A Stepping Stone For Elberg Mike Gelin?

Is Mayor of Tamarac just a stepping stone to a higher office for Elberg Mike Gelin? In an hour long interview on Facebook Wednesday night, Gelin declared he really wants a seat on the Broward County Commission. Gelin is currently a member of the Tamarac City Commission.

The host of the Facebook Live interview asked Gelin if running for mayor was part of his future plans. Gelin said he was currently running for mayor. Then, Gelin’s face lit up when he said really wanted to be a Broward County Commission.

Gelin made no mention of his plans for Tamarac if he became Mayor. He did not have any kind words for his city. Instead, he explained how a Broward County Commissioner had jurisdiction over multiple cities.

Gelin tried to qualify his comments but stating a run for County Commission could be eight or ten years down the road.

Yet, Gelin’s track record shows he is not a patient politician. Many political insiders were shocked when Gelin decided to challenge the popular incumbent Mayor Michelle Gomez.

Gelin currently resides in Broward County Commission District 3. The highly popular Broward County Mayor, Michael Udine, represents District 3. Mayor Udine is up for re-election in 2024.

Cities in District 3 include parts of Coral Springs, North Lauderdale, Parkland, Sunrise and Tamarac. Gelin has supported left-wing allies in these cities for years.

Most politicians never express a desire to move to a higher office, especially while in the midst of a campaign for a different office.

Is Elberg Mike Gelin running a quixotic campaign for Mayor of Tamarac simply to boost his name recognition?

Would Gelin promise not to quit on Tamarac residents in two years and run for higher office?

Can Tamarac residents trust Elberg Mike Gelin?

Oh Gelberg!

“Admiral” Allen Zeman Hired Roger Stone “Protégé” To Work On His Broward School Board Campaign

Allen Zeman

Broward County School Board candidate Allen Zeman hired a company owned by the “protégé” of Roger Stone, election records show. Currently, Zeman enjoys the support of the media and the Democrat establishment in his bid to replace Donna Korn. So why hire a company run by the man Stone called “one of the best young political consultants in Florida?”

According to his August 2022 campaign treasurer’s report, Zeman paid $8,450 to JHSM Holdings of New Jersey for “direct voter contact.” Elnatan Rudolph is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of JHSM Holdings. Located in Teaneck, New Jersey, JHSM Holdings provides text messaging services to political campaigns.

In an April 2018 interview, Rudolph said Stone brought him to Florida to work on State Senate campaigns. When asked if he was a Republican consultant, Rudolph said, “I tell people that depending on which state I am in – I am known as different things. In New York I was known as a Democratic Political Operative. In NJ, I was a councilmember with close ties to the Bergen County Democratic Party Chairman and in Florida I am most known as a Republican consultant.“

In 2018, the Sun-Sentinel reported the Friends of Ron DeSantis political committee “paid at least $268,000 for messaging services to a company owned by Elnatan Rudolph….”

The Sun-Sentinel justified its endorsement of Allen Zeman by stating Governor Ron DeSantis would replace Donna Korn with a Republican if she won. What do they think of Governor DeSantis and Zeman sharing the services of the same Republican consultant?

REDBROWARD exposed ties between Zeman and controversial former School Board member/lobbysit Neil Sterling. After our story was published, Zeman scrubbed Neil Sterling from his campaign website. Allen Zeman would rather hide his ties to Neil Sterling than answer simple questions.

Then, REDBROWARD revealed how Zeman told voters he made the fastest rise to the rank of Admiral in the history of the U.S. Navy. Just one problem, Allen Zeman never served in the U.S. Navy.

Allen Zeman really wants a seat on the Broward School Board. He claims to have a “laser-like” focus on ethics, but the choices he’s made during the campaign call that “focus” into question.

Broward voters deserve answers before the November election.
