Loyal readers know RED BROWARD doesn’t make endorsements. Instead we tell you candidates you should NOT vote for on Tuesday. So get high on yourself and just say no to these candidates:

Dr Mark “Fancy Pants” Gendal, Coral Springs City Commission: when not buying cuff links or fancy pants, Dr Mark Gendal takes advice from Stacy Ritter (D-Booby Trap). Nuff said.

Scott Israel, Broward Sheriff: if Judy Stern couldn’t wield her salami magic in 2008 there’s no way Amy Rose will get the job done in 2012. Of course Amy has help from some heavy hitters, but boneheaded Tweets, Facebook posts and YouTube videos show Broward can’t take four years of Israel.

Abby Merle Freedman, Broward School Board District 4: Sure, Abby is another member of Team Stacy Ritter, but even without that affiliation she rubs voters the wrong way. Abby spent 8 days misleading voters about her endorsements. Freedman was NOT endorsed by the Broward Republican Party. Her aggressive tactics forced elections officials to erect barriers between Freedman and voters. She badmouthed the Teachers Union and firefighters for supporting her opponent even though she sought the same endorsement. Giving Freedman two years on the school board will give us all nightmares.

Franklin Sands, Broward School Board At Large: Poor old Franklin, he was a do-nothing State Rep famous for losing his money to Bernie Madoff. His cozy family ties to lobbyists is a risk not worth taking.

Stacy Ritter, Broward County Commission District 3: Wow, where do we start? Ethics complaints. Rumored investigations. Lobbyist husband. Ties to other lobbyists. Taking money from local strip clubs. A huge Obama supporter. A thin-skinned career politician who got lots of mileage from a cute smile and sponge giveaways. Just say no.
