FL-25 Delegates Stand With President Joe Biden

Weston, FL: Delegates to the Democratic National Convention from Florida’s 25th Congressional District are today standing firmly behind President Biden.   

“President Biden, the only person ever to defeat Donald Trump, is our best choice this November. We know he has what it takes to save our democracy. Over the past four years, the President has also delivered the most successful legislative agenda of any president and brought America back onto the global stage. We must finish the job,” the slate said.  

“We condemn calls for the President to drop out of the race. We must work to ensure we win and save America from Project 2025 – a blueprint for destroying our democracy. A felon with the morals of an alley cat should not be in the White House.” 

The delegates include five district-level delegates: former White House intern and youth activist Charles Horowitz; former Broward County Democratic Party executive director Ryann Greenberg; current Broward Democratic Party corresponding secretary Daniel Mulieri; former Broward County mayor Barbara Sharief; and Haitian-American Democratic Club of Florida President Ronald Surin. They also include Pembroke Pines Democratic Club President Lourdes Ferrer-Diaz, who is serving as a party leader/elected official (PLEO) delegate.

These delegates comprise the Take Back Florida slate – the most diverse group of delegates ever to be elected by the voters of Florida’s 25th Congressional District.
