I don’t recall any statement where the Mayor Dean Trantalis invited protestors to Ft. Lauderdale. I do recall a press conference in which he condemned violent protests while commenting on the Constitutional right of peaceful protest. Let’s stick to the facts and avoid editorial “reporting” lest we end up with a Trumplike alternative reality of unsubstantiated if not outright false statements.
