The early voting center at the West Regional Library in Plantation is a ghost town. The only signs around come courtesy of Brenda Snipes and the SOE office.

You are so right. I took NEWT 2012 signs to three locations. The library on Sheridan was the busiest of the three. Zadie, Schwartz, McClusky and Siple signs were sprinkled around and a few supporters of these candidates were there. NO Republican Presidential signs or supporters were there. I placed NEWT’s sign in a prominent place. The parking lot was 3/4 empty or 1/4 full…….a few people went in and quickly left. I voted. No wait. Private voting booths were empty. When I voted, there was one other voter present.
I also went to the library in Weston on Bonaventure. NO signs at all for anyone. Parking lot was
3/4 full but I saw no one entering the VOTE HERE door. No good place to put a sign. Guards told me NOT to put one anywhere hear the building. I left leaving no sign.
I then drove to the Library in Davie/Cooper City @ Griffin and 82nd Ave. Same problem. Parking lot was crowded, no signs were allowed anywhere near the building and no supporters visible as there is no place to stand in the parking lot. I ran some errands, drove back to Davie, then back to Bonaventure and back to Sheridan. Very few supporters still at Sheridan. I picked up my NEWT sign at 5:20. Other NEWT supporters were planting signs at other locations today. There were no voters to talk to at two locations and the ones I encountered at the Sheridan library clutched there shirts, turned their heads and rushed past the loyal supporters standing up for their candidates of choice. The people entering the library were basically not interested in discussing politics.
South Carolina sounds like a more friendly, happy and exciting election atmosphere. GO NEWT.
