Last week, a packed house in Coral Springs heard best-selling author Roger Stone give his take on the ongoing Russia investigation. Stone was promoting his latest book, The Making of The President 2016: How Donald Trump Orchestrated A Revoultion. Despite evidence to the contrary, Democrats claim some members of the Trump campaign worked with the Russian government. Congressman Adam Schiff (D-CA) claimed Roger Stone had improper contact with Wikileaks founder Julian Assange and anonymous hacker Guccifer 2.0.
Stone told the audience at Wings Plus the California Congressman was “full of Schiff.” Stone denied any coordination with Assange, Guccifer 2.0 and the Russian government. “I hate the Russians,” Stone said. He said Schiff failed to show up for a joint interview on a California television station.
Stone saved some of his harshest comments for Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) and Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-NC). Stone asked why McCain turned over a “false” dossier on Trump to the FBI while remaining silent on his own ties to Russian billionaires. Stone said he ran into Graham, “McCain’s mini-me,” at an inaugural event. Stone said he complimented Graham’s sartorial style. “That’s a nice looking suit, what does it cost in a man’s size,” Stone said.
If you want too hear more, Roger Stone will appear Monday night at the South-West Broward Republican Organization meeting at Total Wines & More in Pembroke Pines (15980 Pines Blvd). The meeting starts at 6:30PM.
Earlier this month, a Presidential candidate asked best selling author Roger Stone to be their running mate.
No, it wasn’t Donald Trump.
Souraya Faas, an independent candidate, asked Stone to join her ticket. The request came during the Q&A session at the Weston Republican Club. Mr. Stone was discussing his book, The Clintons War On Women, with a packed house at Wings Plus in Weston.
Despite torrential rain, a Miami Heat game and even Dancing With The Stars, the second Bill Lewis Facebook Family And Friends Meet Up was a huge success. While the final numbers aren’t in, the attendance is sure to surpass the 150 people that came out last month. Lewis, the host of the popular “The Credit Report With Bill Lewis”, hosted the non-partisan get together at Wings Plus in Coral Springs.
Many notable politicians, candidates and celebrities stopped by including Coral Springs Mayor Roy Gold and Parkland Mayor Michael Udine. Local community activist Essie “Big Mama” Reed was one of the stars of the event, as was Credit Report guest host Carlos Reyes.
Several members of the Broward bench enjoyed the wings as did judicial candidates Rhoda Sokoloff and Roshawn Banks. School Board candidate (District 4) Louis Kushner came by to meet the public.
Robert Sutton, Broward County Commission candidate (District 3) was on hand, but there was no sign of his opponent Stacy Ritter(D-Cheetah III). State House Candidate James Gleason was there meeting his future constituents.
Lewis’ event overshadowed the much smaller School Board campaign kickoff being held in a corner of the restaurant.
Lewis said he would continue to hold these events because it allows the public to meet each other and the movers and shakers of Broward county.
