The latest advisory for hurricane Milton from the National Hurricane Center placed Broward County under a tropical storm watch. Milton, a dangerous category 5 storm, is forecast to hit the Florida west coast later this week. The watch means Broward may experience sustained tropical storm force winds in 36 hours. Milton is forecast to come ashore near Tampa.
