FL Senate Bill Would Slash School Board Salaries To $100 Per Meeting

The Florida Senate may vote on a bill cutting School Board Member salaries to a mere $100 per Board Meeting. This would affect all School Boards in Florida.

“The committee chair, Sen. Stephen Wise, R-Jacksonville, spearheaded the Senate’s efforts this year to pass legislation that overhauled how teachers are hired, fired, paid and evaluated. In recent years, Wise also pushed to reduce school board salaries, including a successful move to cap salaries in each district to the same rate earned by beginning teachers.”

Marco Rubio: Not Going To Run For President or Vice President in 2012

On FOX NEWS SUNDAY, U.S Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) addressed talk of him running for President or Vice President:

“I’m not going to be the candidate for president or vice president.

As far as whether we’re prepared, that’s why we have elections in this country…I have a lot of confidence and faith in our republic. Our voters almost always get it right, more often than not, quite frankly. And through that election process is where we come to learn whether someone is prepared and whether someone has to answer that question for themselves.”
