Bill Lewis’ Facebook Meet Up Attracts Big Crowd In Coral Springs

Despite torrential rain, a Miami Heat game and even Dancing With The Stars, the second Bill Lewis Facebook Family And Friends Meet Up was a huge success. While the final numbers aren’t in, the attendance is sure to surpass the 150 people that came out last month. Lewis, the host of the popular “The Credit Report With Bill Lewis”, hosted the non-partisan get together at Wings Plus in Coral Springs.

Many notable politicians, candidates and celebrities stopped by including Coral Springs Mayor Roy Gold and Parkland Mayor Michael Udine. Local community activist Essie “Big Mama” Reed was one of the stars of the event, as was Credit Report guest host Carlos Reyes.

Several members of the Broward bench enjoyed the wings as did judicial candidates Rhoda Sokoloff and Roshawn Banks. School Board candidate (District 4) Louis Kushner came by to meet the public.

Robert Sutton, Broward County Commission candidate (District 3) was on hand, but there was no sign of his opponent Stacy Ritter(D-Cheetah III). State House Candidate James Gleason was there meeting his future constituents.

Lewis’ event overshadowed the much smaller School Board campaign kickoff being held in a corner of the restaurant.

Lewis said he would continue to hold these events because it allows the public to meet each other and the movers and shakers of Broward county.

Broward Commish Stacy Ritter Picks Campaign Theme Song?

Will Stacy Ritter’s next FUNdraiser be at Thee Dollhouse in Fort Lauderdale?

Maybe Kathy Willetts will introduce her?

“More Fun. Fewer Rules! See U There!”

Broward Booby Prize: Local Strip Joints Fund Stacy Ritter Campaign

We’re not sure if it was in singles, but in March two local strip clubs gave big campaign contributions to Broward Commissioner Stay Ritter’s re-election campaign. On March 12, 2012, P.T.G Entertainment Inc of Pompano Beach, better known as “THE BOOBY TRAP”, gave Ms. Ritter a $500.00 contribution. On that same day, Faneuil Entertainment Inc, Broward Democrats know them better as CHEETAH III, gave Ritter another $500.00. Let’s hope the folks at King’s Point in Tamarac get a discount on lap dances.

FYI: The Booby Trap’s slogan is “More Fun Fewer Rules!” Maybe Nikki Grossman and her tourism team can make that our new motto? Maybe Ritter will bring The Booby Trap to Parkland and Tamarac? Jobs, jobs, jobs, right?

See U There!
