Broward GOP chairman Richard DeNapoli released this statement regarding RPOF Chairman David Bitner’s plan to step down on September 23, 2011:
“God Bless Chair Bitner, his wife Wendy & family. I support his wishes & look forward to working w/ Chairman LennyCurry for 2012 FL victory”
Chairman Bitner asked that Vice Chairman Lenny Curry be named the RPOF chairman on that same day. Chairman Bitner stated that Curry, “understands the …vision” he’s laid out for the RPOF.
