Governor Ron DeSantis just appointed Broward School Board Member Daniel Foganholi to the State Board Of Education. The appointment comes days after a disappointing electoral result for Foganholi on Tuesday. Foganholi will remain on the School Board through November.
The move is a stinging rebuke of Broward Teachers Union (BTU) President Anna Fusco who attacked Foganoli and other Board Members by name at a Wednesday board meeting. Fusco said “bye, bye, bye” to Foganholi. Now, with a spot on the State Board of Education, Daniel Foganholi will continue to have an oversight role in the district including the BTU.
Thanks, Anna!
