Woman Accused Of Defrauding Widow Is Hosting Fundraiser For Broward School Board Candidate Allen Zeman

A woman accused of defrauding a Broward widow is hosting a fundraiser for School Board candidate Allen Zeman this Thursday. According to a flyer posted on social media, Bina Fink and her boss, County Commissioner Steve Geller are hosting the Zeman event at Gulfstream Brewery in Fort Lauderdale. Fake Admiral Zeman is running against Donna Korn for the District 8 seat.

In June 2021, Bina Fink made headlines when she was accused of defrauding a local widow.

The Sun-Sentinel revealed Bina Fink was the subject of a criminal investigation. Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) investigators were looking into Fink’s relationship with Carole Porter, a recently widowed freelance journalist. While Fink snapped blurry selfies at political events, Porter is a well-known for taking high quality photographs at these same events.

According to the Sun-Sentinel:

The widow, Carol Porter, claims Fink persuaded her to hire a new money manager, a new accountant and an attorney Fink recommended. In a written statement submitted to police last July, Porter says she transferred $798,948 to the money manager Fink lined up. When she eventually grew suspicious and tried to transfer the money back, she discovered thousands of dollars missing, she said. Porter claims she had given Fink part of the missing funds — $82,500 — to pay the new lawyer, much of it through checks made out to “cash.”

Despite knowing BSO investigators subpoenaed his aide’s financial records, Steve Geller heaped praise on Fink.

Geller, a lawyer/lobbyist told the Sun-Sentinel, “If Bina were to be convicted of a crime, obviously I would have a completely different view. I might have a different view if there was a finding of probable cause. But I’d have to review the indictment.”

REDBROWARD reported Fink used Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz to secure a loan from a local attorney, court records show. In September 2017, Russell Thompson sued Bina Fink in Broward County Court over her failure to repay a 2016 loan in the amount of $9,981 loan to Thompson. According to the complaint, Fink told Thompson she needed a temporary loan to pay for travel expenses.

Bina Fink told Thompson she was due $10,000 for work she performed for the Democratic National Committee. The complaint states, “[Fink] said she would be receiving a check from Debbie Wasserman Schultz as payment.” Then, Bina Fink “called Debbie Wasserman Schultz in the presence of [Thompson] to confirm she would be receiving her payment.”

Thompson gave Fink the loan. In return, Fink gave Thompson a check in the same amount which he could cash the following week. When Thompson attempted to deposit check, Fink told him she did not have the money.

Two months after filing the lawsuit, Fink agreed to repay the loan over the next ten months.

Did Bina Fink really get Debbie Wasserman-Schultz on the phone to discuss a $10,000? Unfortunately, Russell Thompson died suddenly in December 2018. But published reports and numerous selfies on Facebook appear to show a close relationship between Wasserman-Schultz and Fink.

Why is Allen Zeman seeking support of someone like Bina Fink?

If Bina Fink is a huge supporter of Allen Zeman why was she snapping selfies with BTU honchos at the Ron DeSantis/Charlie Crist debate? BTU is backing Donna Korn.

The Broward Democrat Operatives Running Allen Zeman, Andrew Gillum And Tamarac PACs Were Behind False Ads In Florida House Race

Who else is hiding behind Yolanda Brown?

The Broward Democrat operatives running the Allen Zeman, Andrew Gillum and numerous Tamarac political committees were accused of interfering in the August Florida House District 120 Republican primary. According to published reports, a political committee operated by Coral Springs resident Yolanda Brown attacked State Rep. Jim Mooney in a series of mailers and television commercials. Some believed Brown’s “Floridians For Truth Now” PAC worked on behalf of Mooney’s opponent, Rhoda Rebman Lopez.

Why would Yolanda Brown, the woman behind Andrew Gillum’s political committee, get involved in a Republican primary?

According to Florida Politics, “the ads attacking Mooney are written to make it appear as if Floridians for Truth Now is a conservative political committee.” Florida Politics reported Brown’s committee made a $19,000 payment to Precision Consulting LLC, a Delaware based company “for printing, likely for the ads attacking Mooney.”

Days later, Florida Politics reported a second Yolanda Brown political committee paid for television commercials attacking Rep. Jim Mooney. “The Freedom for Florida ad accuses Mooney of breaking the law by claiming multiple homestead exemptions. The allegation is false and the ad was pulled from the air after Mooney’s attorney provided documentation to EFFECTV proving that he is not claiming multiple exemptions.”

While the payment to Precision Consulting LLC for the Mooney mailer listed a Delaware address, REDBROWARD was able to directly tie the company to Yolanda Brown and her husband, Willie Rumph, Jr.

State of Florida election records show five payments made to Precision Consulting LLC located at a Dover, Delaware UPS Store. Three of the payments were made by PACs operated by Yolanda Brown: The Code PC, Fair Democracy Florida and Floridians For Truth Now.

State of Florida election records show Florida House 93 Democrat candidate Thomas Valeo made ten payments to Precision Consulting LLC. However, Valeo’s payments were sent to an address located in Coral Springs.

State business records list this address for the registered agent of Brown Financial And Consulting Services of Fort Lauderdale—acompany owned by Yolanda Brown. Her husband, Willie Rumph Jr, is the registered agent.

Records show Rumph and Brown live at the Coral Springs address.

When contacted by REDBROWARD, Yolanda Brown did not want to comment on her political committees. However, Brown did admit that she and Rumph own and operate Precision Consulting LLC.

Why are so many Democrats hiding behind Yolanda Brown’s political committees?
