Former FBI Director James Comey indicted on two counts Thursday evening, published reports say. Catherine Herridge reports Comey charged with obstruction and false statements to Congress. FBI Director Kash Patel released the following statement:

For far too long, previous corrupt leadership and their enablers weaponized federal law enforcement, damaging once proud institutions and severely eroding public trust. Every day, we continue the fight to earn that trust back, and under my leadership, this FBI will confront the problem head-on.
Nowhere was this politicization of law enforcement more blatant than during the Russiagate hoax, a disgraceful chapter in history we continue to investigate and expose.
Everyone, especially those in positions of power, will be held to account – no matter their perch.
No one is above the law.

Yep, Donnie has managed to completely degrade the Department of Justice and turn it into his personal vendetta agency. Lindsey Halligan, a former Florida insurance law attorney, with zero prosecutorial experience, but a third runner-up spot in a past beauty pageant and re-writer of history at the Smithsonian under DJT, signed off on the indictment and is the only prosecutor listed on the corresponding court docket. She hopefully will be left to rue the day she agreed to step into this obvious hornet’s nest. Grab some popcorn, this should be an amusing waste of taxpayer money and the judicial system’s time and a truly embarrassing moment for the legal profession…not that Donnie cares as he’ll assuredly blame everyone else for this fiasco at the end of the day.
