UPDATE: Arrests Made As Socialists/Pro-Palestine Protest Of Boca Raton Company Turns Violent

***UPDATE*** Source claims four arrests made at protest. Supporters headed to Palm Beach County Jail to hold vigil.

Local socialist groups, including Broward Democratic Socialists of America and Broward Dream Defenders, will join forces with Pro-Hamas supporters Thursday afternoon at a Boca Raton business. These groups aim to shut down operations at ElBit Systems over alleged ties to Israel. The socialists and the Palestine protestors believe Elbit Systems manufacturers drones and weapons used in Gaza.

I don’t believe that being Pro Palestine means you are Pro Hamas.
This seems more like an editorial you wrote rather than a news piece.

“We have a lot of people who frequently talk about or they chant the slogan, from the mountains to the sea, Palestine will be free,” Steve Geller continued. “If you unpack that mountains to the ocean, that they’re describing the State of Israel when they are chanting that they’re actually calling for the destruction of the State of Israel.”

I support my Jewish friends, (and family). They all consider that statement to be inflammatory and anti Semitic. Chanting that at a rally would change my opinion of the protesters.

They chant this repeatedly. I have witnessed with my own eyes and ears. Broward College, Galleria, Downtown Fort Lauderdale

If you lived under military occupation and your mother lived on the other side of town in military occupation and apartheid would you want to be FREE? Yes you would want the ability to move freely and have basic human rights just like a Palestinian. The chant doesn’t say anything about the destruction of Israel. Free means free.

What have you been watching? If they chanted that you would change your mind? Its from the river to the sea by the way, not the mountains, and its chanted at every one of these so called “pro palestine” protests. You just can’t wrap your head around the fact that the democratic party is now the party of rabid jew haters. The Jewish community was at the forefront of the civil rights movement, the gay rights movement, and every other civil rights crusade and they have been stabbed in the back by all of these same constituencies.

You know they hate us. They pretend they’re our friends, but every single time the “palestinians” attack Israel, we find out who our real friends are. And they aren’t the Democrats!

It is clear to even a blind man that Islam and all who adhere to it must be contained and destroyed. It is not a religion of peace. It is a political system whose mission to to convert or kill all non believers. Every Muslim is a Jihadist.

Farah, what occupation and apartheid? Israel unilaterally withdrew in 2005 and hamas responded by launching rockets. What sane nation wouldn’t impose a blockade? And why no comment about your fellow muslims, the Egyptians, who imposed the same blickade of gaza that the Israeli’s did, but no one wants to talk about that. We know what that little chant means and I have news for you, it’s not happening

The pro-Palestinian chant of “From the river to the sea” can easily trigger pro-Israel rhyming couplet retorts, such as

“From the river to the sea.
Why won’t any Arab country accept a Palestinian refugee?”
