BREAKING: Broward School Board Fires Superintendent Vickie Cartwright

The Broward School Board just removed Superintendent Vickie Cartwright. The board voted 5-4 to remove Cartwright. Board Chairman Torey Alston announced a discussion on an interim superintendent will take place during a special meeting on Tuesday.

    A DeSantis coup? His 5 appointees push this through over the votes of the other 4 elected Board members and before the four new elected Board members, replacing 4 of DeSantis’ appointees, are installed on Nov. 22? A mere coincidence?
