Sun-Sentinel opinion editor Steve Bousquet just penned another love letter to Fort Lauderdale commission candidate John Herbst despite his ties to controversial Democrat lobbyist Judy Stern.
Why Steve?
Perhaps Steve sees a kindred spirit in Herbst since neither man lives in Fort Lauderdale?
Bousquet lives in Tallahassee while Herbst owns a home in Lake Placid.

Tom, from everything I’ve read, albeit in the Sun-Sentinel, leads me to think this fellow is an honest civil servant who was ousted in the middle of the night by Glassman and Sorensen for, amongst other things, Sorensen bullying an FTL employee to pay vendors who performed un budgeted and unauthorized work in Sorensens neighborhood.

Tom, I’m surprised that you didn’t bother to reach out to me and ask me where I live before you print something as obviously false as saying that I don’t live in Fort Lauderdale. I live in Fort Lauderdale, I am registered to vote in Ft. Lauderdale, and my neighbors can attest to that. Including the neighbor that knocked on my door at 11:30 pm two weeks ago when her husband had a heart attack and I drove her to Holy Cross hospital and sat with her all night. I left you a voicemail with my number so you’ll have no trouble asking for a comment before you run your next story.
