There will be no farewell ceremonies for now former Broward School Board Members Patricia Good, Donna Korn, Laurie Rich Levinson and Ann Murray. On Friday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis followed the advice of a Statewide Grand Jury and suspended the members. By late Friday afternoon, photographs of the suspended members hanging at the School Board headquarters in Fort Lauderdale were removed.
The official order by DeSantis directs the Broward Sheriff’s Office to assist other law enforcement officers as they escort members from their offices. The members can removed personal belongings only. The order prohibits the removal of any official documents or storage devices.
REDBROWARD 
The Grand Jury stated the five women deserved suspension due to “incompetence, neglect of duty, and misuse of authority.” I have never been impressed with our county school board since the 80’s. I invested in my children’s private education for this reason. Having a home, a business and an office building I pay 3 times for public education. The school board wanted more money this primary election and I voted no. We need business leaders running our schools, we need armed guards at every entrance and we need to educate our teachers on gun safety and the use of a gun when needed for any active shooter. Any mass shooter should get an immediate death penalty.
