“Those who support DeSantis should stay with him and vote for him and I don’t want your vote. If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there.”
Charlie Crist
Looks like Charlie Crist woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Even though he won the Democratic nomination for Governor on Tuesday, a cranky Crist started his campaign with nasty attacks on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and his supporters. The attacks came as Crist promised optimism.
First, Crist called DeSantis a fascist. That’s red-meat hyperbole that rolls off DeSantis’ back.
Then, Crist unleashed a nasty attack on DeSantis supporters reminiscent of Hillary Clinton calling Donald Trump fans “Deplorables.”
Crist made the odd claim that he did not want the votes of DeSantis supporters. But Crist went even further.
“If you have that hate in your heart, keep it there,” Crist said.
Floridians who support Ron DeSantis “have hate in the hearts?”
Sorry, Charlie. Guess you finally saw those poll numbers.

Laughable ! He is delusional !

Delusional? LOL! It’s the most perceptively accurate thing he’s said so far and none of those DeSantis supporters would vote for him anyway. It’s going to be an interesting next few months.

Interesting that those who chastise others about hatred almost always display the hatred they have in their hearts. Sounds like Mr. Crist needs therapy or at least anger management.
