Talk about a bad investment. Former Broward County Commissioner Dale Holness (D-Desperate) is asking voters for money on election day. Holness is the overwhelming underdog in the CD 20 Democratic primary against Congresswoman Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick. The Holness campaign sent an email to supporters telling them an election day contribution is legal.

Federal rules for elections allow us to receive donations through the end of election day. Our campaign is by the people, for the people, and funded by the people.
