Two sources confirm Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) agents visited Broward Schools headquarters Thursday morning. The visit comes one day after the arrests of Superintendent Robert Runcie and Board attorney Barbara Myrick. According to a source with direct knowledge, FDLE agents stopped at the security desk at the KC Wright building in downtown Fort Lauderdale.
The agents asked if any Broward School Board members were in the building. When agents learned which member(s) were there, they said they were “not on our list.”
The agents left.
