Hillary Clinton will return to Broward Tuesday with a rally at the African-American Research Library in Fort Lauderdale. The campaign says Clinton “will outline her plans to create an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top, and her vision for an America that is stronger together.” On Sunday, Clinton made multiple stops in Broward in the hopes of boosting early voting.
Instead, vote totals sank to their lowest levels. On Sunday, just 20,000 Broward residents voted. Today, the total was 25,155 votes. This was far below last Monday’s totals.
Traditionally, Democrat candidates must count on strong support in Broward in order to win Florida. Vote totals plunged following FBI Director James Comey’s Friday announcement that new evidence was uncovered in the Hillary email scandal.
