Sharnell Selena Jackson, a former Miami Dolphins cheerleader, is running for a seat on the Broward County School Board. Jackson is seeking the District 9 At-Large seat currently occupied by Robin Bartleman. Jackson, a Coral Springs resident, is a financial broker.
Jackson’s Linkedin page states she is a vendor with the Broward School District. She wrote, ” I am an approved vendor for the Miami-Dade, Broward & Palm Beach County Schools. We educate county employees on the FRS Pension, DROP, Investment and 403B/457.”

It would be great if people voted for this position based on the knowledge that the candidate is best for making a difference in education and the future of students, not based on jobs and who likes who. This Seat is not about IT Department, it’s about making a better future for our Youth.
