Joe Kaufman Says Debbie Wasserman Schultz Took His Advice, Cancels Appearance With Muslim Group

Joe Kaufman, candidate for US Congress, wrote about Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Out of Touch) upcoming appearance at a Fort Lauderdale fundraiser for Emerge USA. Kaufman called for DWS to cancel her visit with this group. Kaufman says Debbie has taken her advice. Here’s the release from the Kaufman campaign:

“In an effort to conduct damage control, DNC Chair and Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has canceled her upcoming speech that was going to take place in front of a radical Muslim group, EMERGE USA. Her Washington, D.C. office confirmed the cancellation.

On flyers that now have been pulled down from EMERGE USA’s official website, Wasserman Schultz had been listed as the Keynote Speaker for the group’s annual fundraising banquet to be held on the night of April 21st at the Fort Lauderdale Marriott North.

Joe Kaufman, who is running for U.S. Congress against Wasserman Schultz, had co-written an article about the situation for the David Horowitz Freedom Center’s FrontPage Magazine, titled ‘Debbie Wasserman Schultz Empowers a Radical Muslim Fundraiser.’ He then contacted all three of Wasserman Schultz’s Congressional offices to call on her to cancel her speech and followed it up with a press release announcing a protest against her and EMERGE.

In their investigative piece, Kaufman and co-author Beila Rabinowitz provided extensive proof of how a number of EMERGE USA representatives have been associated with anti-American, anti-Israel and Islamic supremacist statements and activities. They took issue with the fact that the Congresswoman would be helping the group to raise money, money that would undoubtedly be used towards nefarious purposes.

The information had gone viral, as Fox News and others released news stories about it.

Wasserman Schultz took Kaufman’s advice to heart, as she canceled her speech and had EMERGE remove all mention of it from its website.

According to Wasserman Schultz’s office, they do not know if EMERGE will still be moving forward with its April fundraising banquet.”

Kaufman once again is pulling straws or is it wishful thinking. What happened was she was feeling the heat from various sources including a lot of letter writings, media coverage and phone calls from people all over the country on both sides. She also is in the process of losing the Jewish vote here in CD 20. This is caused by all the publicity the story got not by Kaufman but through the marketing and promoting by the Goldner camp including getting it on Fox News, most of the blog radio shows with interviews the last few days and also all the phone calls to constituents in CD 20 and other ares the past few days by the Goldner camp. This publicity and the fact that most of the candidates in CD 20 was on her case, she decided to cancel her appearance. This had nothing to do with Kaufman except for his ego once again showing itself.

      Hey, Joe!

Got a little question for you. Why haven’t you filed a campaign finance report with the FEC? Aren’t candidates required to do so?

Kaufman doesn’t refer to himself in the third person nor has imaginary “teams”.

The first line is quoted from Joe Goldner, not my words.

Don’t worry, reading comprehension is not required to have an opinion or to vote.

My name is a take on the Arabic phrase “lan astaslem”, which means “I will not submit”. So no, I’m not a muslim sympathizer.

Kaufman and Goldner are 2 sides of the same kookie Joe coin. Congresswoman Wasseman-Schultz doesn’t know you guys exist. She doesn’t care about Harrington’s greasy chicken wings. Only 3 people pose a real threat to the DNC chairwoman. They are Ozzie, Gineen and Juan.

I really don’t think Debbie Wasserman Schultz gives Joe Kaufman a second thought. However if it makes Joe Kaufman feel important, than I will agree with him. Good job Joe, you showed her. 🙂
