South Florida radio talk show host Joyce Kaufman has endorsed George LeMieux in the Florida US Senate race.
Ms. Kaufman, a strong supporter of Congressman Allen West, is a favorite of the South Florida tea party movement. Ms. Kaufman had been a supporter of Adam Hasner; He dropped out of Senate race to seek Congressman West’s current seat.
This endorsement comes as a bit of a surprise. LeMieux has never been a favorite of the tea parties in south Florida. So this definitely welcomed news for Team LeMieux.
Why do you make the assumption that Joyce Kaufman represents the tea party? She’s a radio host that used to be a liberal.
Whether or not Joyce Kaufman represents the Tea Party is of no consequence. Her endorsements are reputable, respected and contagious. George LeMieux deserves critical vetting. Ask yourself how he stacks up against Connie Mack and Mike McAllister. Do your homework………..Personally, if I were not so involved with current political events, I could take a ballot filled out with Joyce Kaufman’s choices into the poll with me and replicate it on my ballot………….Go Joyce…………..
The key point here is “used to be a liberal”. Appears she’s not too liberal anymore. In the recent past, I have agreed with her political choices. DO YOUR OWN HOMEWORK……………

Hmmmm? Senator LeMieux has visited Tea Party Fort Lauderdale a few times and our group has great respect for him. This is what the vetting process is all about. We look forward to having him back soon!
