RED BROWARD asked Senator George LeMieux for a comment regarding CAIR request for Islamic training in Broward schools. Broward school kids,teachers and principals would learn tolerance of islam. LeMieux released the following:

“Education is a local issue and decisions should be left to the school board. However, the burden of teaching tolerance should be placed on the parents and not the faculty of schools. Children should be taught to respect other views and faiths without signaling out specific examples.”
