Florida Senate President Mike Haridopolos has ended his US Senate campaign.
“Today, I am announcing that I will no longer be a candidate for the United States Senate, nor will I seek any other office this year or next. Instead, I am re-dedicating myself to finishing the job you sent me to do here in Florida. This was a very difficult decision for me, and my family, but this is the right decision. To those who have supported me in my race for Senate, know that while I may be ending this campaign, I will not give up the fight.”
In this YouTube video, Haridopolos vows to not seek any other office this year or next year.
This does not surprise me as I have been reading and listening to my fellow Floridians…I don’t believe he had a chance. Money is not a factor anymore in political races….people are watching and know what is going on 🙂 They want representation, not “fundraisers”. I for one thank him for being man enough to not waste votes and time.
Mike McCalister has what it takes….the knowledge, experience, and credentials to be our next US Senator from Florida!
haridopolus was nothing but a corrupt RINO and never stood a chance anyway. and either adam hasner or mike mccalister will make an excellent senator for florida.
I disagree with Conservative Dingbat. To have a successful campaign in a state wide race like Florida… You need money and lots of it! I like Mike but he has no money to win a Senate race in a market like Florida. He won’t even come close. Why do you think he didn’t report his fundraising in the first quarter for? Because he has none. I am not going to waste my vote and split the Conservative vote and let Charlie Crist’s right hand man Mr.MODERATE LeMieux walk into an easy win. My money and vote is on Hasner who is Rubio’s right hand man. I can’t wait to see those to unite again. They will be an awesome team in the Senate!
