Uncle Of FTX Founder Sam Bankman-Fried Worried About NFL Quarterbacks Invested In Bitcoin(!)

James Fox Miller, the uncle of FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, loves to share his thoughts with the world. In addition to a vanity blog, Miller posts a daily stream of consciousness blog on Facebook from his villa in Florence, Italy. REDBROWARD recently reported how Miller revealed his wife, Broward Democrat lobbyist Barbara Miller, worked for FTX. Miller’s law firm, Boies Schiller, is rumored to represent investors angry at professional athletes who promoted FTX.

So, why did James Fox Miller spend Wednesday morning blogging about NFL quarterbacks and cryptocurrency?

Miller wrote, “Remember all those high salary athletes who chose to be paid in crypto? I hope they diversified their asset portfolio or they took a huge hit as they ever had on the field. I think Aaron Rodgers was paid some of his salary in Bitcoin. Trevor Lawrence took his entire $22 million plus signing bonus in Bitcoin. Oh my!

Oh my is right. Miller has his facts totally wrong.

Jacksonville Jaquars QB Trevor Lawrence did not get his signing bonus in Bitcoin. In fact, Lawrence signed a lucrative endorsement deal with FTX!

This groundbreaking deal with Lawrence marks the first endorsement deal ever in which a significant signing bonus has been paid entirely in cryptocurrency,” FTX said in a release last year when the partnership with Lawrence was announced.

“Trevor Lawrence is the future of professional football and cryptocurrency is the future of money, so the partnership was a no-brainer,” said Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of Blockfolio. “But as impressive as Trevor is on-the-field, I was most impressed with his character and charitable focus off the field.”

Did SBF tell Uncle Jimmy about the deals with NFL QBs like Trevor Lawrence and Tom Brady?

Was Uncle Jimmy always so wary of cryptocurrency?

Why is Uncle Jimmy even talking about crypto?

The Law Firm Of FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried’s Uncle Wants To Sue Celebrities For Promoting FTX?!?

Published reports claim attorney David Boies is “talking to clients about bringing a class action suit against celebrities who promoted the troubled crypto exchange FTX.” Last week, FTX filed for bankruptcy after the company and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried lost billions of dollars. According to The Block website, “Boies’s firm, Boies Schiller Flexner LLP, has spoken with clients from a similar class action lawsuit against failed crypto lender Voyager, the source said. The Voyager case targets CEO Steve Ehrlich, the Dallas Mavericks basketball team and the team’s billionaire owner Mark Cuban. Voyager filed for bankruptcy protection in July.” Some of the celebrities promoting FTX include Tom Brady and Stephen Curry.

Boies Schiller Flexner LLP has offices across the United States with two offices in Broward County. One of the partners at the Hollywood office is James Fox Miller. Last February, REDBROWARD reported on Mr. Miller’s politically incorrect social media. James Fox Miller is the husband of Democrat lobbyist/Broward School Board whisperer Barbara Miller.

Last week, REDBROWARD revealed Barbara Miller is Sam Bankman-Fried’s aunt. Yesterday, REDBROWARD revealed Barbara Miller’s major role in organizing the March 2022 FTX Hackathon And Crypto Summit at the FTX Arena in Miami. Some of the celebrities mentioned as targets of Boies’ purported lawsuit were judges at Miller’s event.

Does David Boies know?
